Tressa Breindel obtained her Masters in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado.
She is a nationally certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. The over 3000+ hours also includes training in pediatrics, nutritional therapy, life-style counseling, tui na and shiatsu.
Before coming to study Chinese medicine, Tressa studied for medical school, worked in neuro-endocrine-immunology and neuroscience labs and hospitals which gave her a thorough background in allopathic medicine and western physiology which she uses in her medicine currently.
Personally, Tressa has lived in Colorado since 1999. She was a political science major, a certified massage therapist, competitive runner and has been diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder Crohn's disease since she was 14. It was her experiences as both an athlete and with Crohn's that lead her to medicine, and eventually to Chinese medicine. It is in Chinese medicine that she found the most comprehensive way of understanding our physiology and positively effecting health. It is now her passion to use this comprehensive education to help alleviate others suffering and maximize their potential for vital living!
